Physics is subject which need the ability of imagination. If you are not able to imagine in correct way then the subject get boring. And some students are week in calculations which carries a lot of mark. Physics is not that much tough. If any one can make the subject understand properly then it very easy to go on with. Most of the students feel that physics is difficult. Yes, it is when the things are not understood. This feeling can be seen in the students of high school. It may be because of the absence of practical knowledge, or absence of interest, etc. It depends on the way that teachers follow to make the students understand the subject. If they teach it as subject, then it will be definitely boring. But if they explain in a beautiful way, compare it with the real life stating real world examples and applications; they can imagine in correct way as it should be and then definitely students can understand better...
The main reason regarding 'Physics' as a difficult subject by the students is due to the way of teaching they have been received. Most of the Physics classes given to them are boring. Most of the teachers are mechanically doing their profession since it is their livelihood. They are vomitting their knowledge. They forget that 'Teaching' is an 'art' also. Most of the teaching communities don’t know how to teach Physics in an interesting, understanding and enjoyable manner. Naturally the students get bored and pay less attention in their classes. Academic qualification not alone will serve any good to the selection of teachers.
In my view Physics is not a difficult subject, it depends on how you take it. It seems to be hard because it also has many calculations and formulas similar to Maths. When they were learning Physics they found vernier and screwguage a difficult topic and practicals in physics also is quite hard because sometimes they get confused with the results. Most of the students who find Physics difficult have a weak base. It also depends on the way that most student study it, if you understand the concept it becomes a bit easy otherwise a bit difficult. Physics is beautiful and interesting to them who enjoy it. A true physicist is crazy, devoted and a man with high thinking and imagination thats put the physicist in some other category. If the concepts are made clear, basics are taught well, good teaching and learning methods are followed then every subject will be an interesting.
This can be proven by the fact that if we ask a simple topic of Physics from the student they will theoretically know all about it or we can say that they have restricted the definitions and theorems but when we ask them from what is its use in practical life, they can’t answer.
So try to execute best methods to make the subject more interesting and create learning environment, proper methodology, and practical approach to make the learning more effective one.
About Me
- Harish
- This is probably the hardest page for me to write. Not because I haven't accomplished anything in my life, but because I would rather write ... I pursued my graduation in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in SAMC under Calicut University. I'm lucky enough to live in the beautiful landscape of Palakkad, with my parents, and with my brother and sister. I am considering the healthcare field because of the growth potential and I like helping people. But teaching is my passion. Right now, I am doing medical transcription in my city. I choose it as my career bcoz it provides excellent opportunity, great benefits, flexible working hours!! I really enjoys my profession and wanted to learn more and to expertise in healthcare IT. I am looking for an assignment from overseas because I suppose to get greatest reward for my effort and skills. I love to learn and like to be busy. I also enjoys the companion of friends, true friends and I have a few not too many because they are real hard to come around these days. And also I enjoy hanging out with friends, long walk by the lake, candellight dinner, going to the movies, chatting, reading, writing romantic poems.
