This post aims to express Islam's true position towards evil acts of Terrorism and Suicide Bombings, and evaluating mankind.
In today’s world, people are under the illusion that all Muslims are terrorists, or if not terrorists, they automatically assume that Islam is a religion with warped thoughts and beliefs. While there may be those few people who can be titled as “extremists” or “terrorists”, they are definitely not Muslims, as terrorism and violence goes completely against the teachings of Islam and against the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Islam is a religion that believes and works to promote peace and justice; it is a religion that strives to achieve perfection in mankind and to ensure that everyone behaves according to proper moral conduct. If a Muslim engages in terrorism, he is not following Islam. He may be wrongly using the name of Islam for political or financial gain.
"Suicide is haram in Islam. It's prohibited, like a mortal sin. And murder is haram. And to kill civilians is murder."
Islam is in fact a religion that promotes peace and understanding among people of all faiths, and it strongly prohibits all forms of violence and aggression against all people regardless of their faith or race.
The "root" of the word "Islam" in Arabic is SALAMA which is the origin of the words Peace &/or Submission, a submission to God and peace to all humanity. It is, thus, no wonder why the salutation in Islam is: "Al-Salamu Alaikum or Peace on You."
In this regard, prophet Mohammad ordered his fellow Muslims to salute others Muslims or non-Muslims with peace when he said: "Peace Before Speech"
It is a Rule in Islam that during war time, an enemy warrior who pronounces the word peace is totally immune.
Respect for humankind is one of the basic teachings of Islam. Anyone, be he of one’s own religion or of any other religious tradition, whether he belongs to one community or another; whether he belongs to friendly group or enemy group, in all cases is worthy of respect. According to the teachings of Islam human beings are to be respected, despite their differences. Even where antagonism is displayed, we have to adopt the way of avoidance of conflict and continue to show respectful behavior. In the eyes of Islam all human beings are equal and deserve our respect.

About Me

- Harish
- This is probably the hardest page for me to write. Not because I haven't accomplished anything in my life, but because I would rather write ... I pursued my graduation in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in SAMC under Calicut University. I'm lucky enough to live in the beautiful landscape of Palakkad, with my parents, and with my brother and sister. I am considering the healthcare field because of the growth potential and I like helping people. But teaching is my passion. Right now, I am doing medical transcription in my city. I choose it as my career bcoz it provides excellent opportunity, great benefits, flexible working hours!! I really enjoys my profession and wanted to learn more and to expertise in healthcare IT. I am looking for an assignment from overseas because I suppose to get greatest reward for my effort and skills. I love to learn and like to be busy. I also enjoys the companion of friends, true friends and I have a few not too many because they are real hard to come around these days. And also I enjoy hanging out with friends, long walk by the lake, candellight dinner, going to the movies, chatting, reading, writing romantic poems.

Why Physics is difficult?
Physics is subject which need the ability of imagination. If you are not able to imagine in correct way then the subject get boring. And some students are week in calculations which carries a lot of mark. Physics is not that much tough. If any one can make the subject understand properly then it very easy to go on with. Most of the students feel that physics is difficult. Yes, it is when the things are not understood. This feeling can be seen in the students of high school. It may be because of the absence of practical knowledge, or absence of interest, etc. It depends on the way that teachers follow to make the students understand the subject. If they teach it as subject, then it will be definitely boring. But if they explain in a beautiful way, compare it with the real life stating real world examples and applications; they can imagine in correct way as it should be and then definitely students can understand better...
The main reason regarding 'Physics' as a difficult subject by the students is due to the way of teaching they have been received. Most of the Physics classes given to them are boring. Most of the teachers are mechanically doing their profession since it is their livelihood. They are vomitting their knowledge. They forget that 'Teaching' is an 'art' also. Most of the teaching communities don’t know how to teach Physics in an interesting, understanding and enjoyable manner. Naturally the students get bored and pay less attention in their classes. Academic qualification not alone will serve any good to the selection of teachers.
In my view Physics is not a difficult subject, it depends on how you take it. It seems to be hard because it also has many calculations and formulas similar to Maths. When they were learning Physics they found vernier and screwguage a difficult topic and practicals in physics also is quite hard because sometimes they get confused with the results. Most of the students who find Physics difficult have a weak base. It also depends on the way that most student study it, if you understand the concept it becomes a bit easy otherwise a bit difficult. Physics is beautiful and interesting to them who enjoy it. A true physicist is crazy, devoted and a man with high thinking and imagination thats put the physicist in some other category. If the concepts are made clear, basics are taught well, good teaching and learning methods are followed then every subject will be an interesting.
This can be proven by the fact that if we ask a simple topic of Physics from the student they will theoretically know all about it or we can say that they have restricted the definitions and theorems but when we ask them from what is its use in practical life, they can’t answer.
So try to execute best methods to make the subject more interesting and create learning environment, proper methodology, and practical approach to make the learning more effective one.

Heart to Heart
I know I'm a coward for not telling you in person. I just couldn't face you. It appears our relationship has dwindled down to a one way conversation via orkut. Although you may read them, I feel they don’t really reach you. Though there have been miles of distance between us, always believed that life would bring us together. That hope was a comfort and gave me the patience to wait for that future. As time has passed, it is pretty clear that you have drifted further and further away from me. I guess it is finally time for me to acknowledge, to you and myself, that our futures will make different paths.
Your entry into my life breathed life into me. It gave me an excitement for each new day and I looked forward with anticipation to each time I could see you. In all of life, I have never really felt so at peace as when I am thinking of you.
We never had any meaningful communications ever since. But the brief moments when our paths cross created memories that will remain forever in my mind and heart. The decades of not seeing and talking to each other is not enough to diminish the lasting relation that binds us together. We failed to communicate in a meaningful and ordinary way, but who cares? The language of relationship isn’t words but meanings.
My hope that destiny would bring us together meant that I never really had to say goodbye. As much as that saddens me, I think it is really time for me to say goodbye to you.
How foolish of me. I'll never forget you and I'll always miss you, but this is what's best for you and your family. I knew that your mother didn't like me. I'm unsure of whether it was my faith or wealth, or merely the fact that I was nobody, not good enough for her child. As for your father... I’m unsure of what he feels. Your sibling took to me, but he always seemed a bit distant. He felt uncomfortable around me.
I know that as you read this, you're wondering how and why this all happened so quickly. Well, it's been on my mind for a few weeks and I realized that it's either now or never. I'm glad that I worked up the courage to begin doing it. The reason is your family. I love them all because I love you. If I didn't love them, I wouldn't love you. It means a lot to me, personally, for the partner to respect the other's parents. I wish things could have worked out, but to pursue that would have been incredibly selfish.
There will always be a place in my heart that you will be fondly, fondly remembered. You are the beat of my heart, the soul in my body; you are me, because without you I am nothing.
Please give me a call when life allows you to enjoy a warm hug, a good meal and one of our loving heart-to-heart talks. I will look forward to that day……. If it ever comes.

Proud of being a Teacher
Teaching is really a noble profession. Teachers are always a boon to society. Through their intelligence, patience and wisdom, they attempt to not only hone the learner's intellect and aptitude, but also create a well-rounded personality. Teaching has an influence in developing ones mind and character and also gives the satisfaction of having sparked the light of knowledge and dispelled the clouds of ignorance. Everyone of us, including our nation’s Presidents are the product of teaching. The teacher does not produce knowledge or stuff ideas into an empty, passive mind. It is the learner, not the teacher, who is the active producer of knowledge and ideas.
Good teachers can bring out the best in every student. They are the ones who make a difference in the lives of their students. Rousing students from their apathy and watching their curiosity grow is one of the biggest rewards of teaching. The teacher is the one who molds a child into what he will be on the future. He is being taught how to read and how to write, how to deal with others and how to deal with himself. The knowledge of the teacher is being shared or transferred to the child from science, technology, arts and values. And when the child is ready to pursue for a higher degree of education and specialization, it is still the teacher who is guiding the child for him to attain his dreams and expectations.
Teaching, like farming and healing, is a cooperative art which helps nature do what it can do itself, though not as well without it. We have all learned many things without the aid of a teacher. Some exceptional individuals have acquired wide learning and deep insight with very little formal schooling. But for most of us the process of learning is made more certain and less painful when we have a teacher's help. His methodical guidance makes our learning and it is still ours, easier and more effective.
No other profession is greater than teaching. Without teacher, there will be no Engineers who will plan, design and manage the construction of buildings, roads, bridges, communication facilities and other mechanical infrastructure. Doctors, scientists, politicians, etc, will not exist without the teacher and the teaching process. If you really think about it, a teacher's job is not much different from a doctor's or a lawyer's. All three require expertise in the area you're practicing extensively. All three have their students', patients' or clients' lives in their hands. All three are almost always working; when they're not physically on the job they're mentally on the job. Thus, it's only natural all three should be awarded the same respect.
Teaching always involves a relation between the mind of one person and the mind of another. The teacher is not merely a talking book, an animated phonograph record, broadcast to an unknown audience. Teaching your profession requires a lot of thought about how you do what you do. Teachers are taught how students learn. This enables them to pass on the essentials of a subject in a way that their students can understand. To do this, a teacher must know the subject extremely well.
Simply and in the broadest sense, the teacher shows the student how to discern, evaluate, judge, and recognize the truth. He does not impose a fixed content of ideas and doctrines that the student must learn by rote. He teaches the student how to learn and think for himself. He encourages rather than suppresses a critical and intelligent response.
As teachers, we are educating future generations, shaping young minds and lives. A teacher's motivation and encouragement is extremely valuable to a child; it can change the child's life. Just imagine the science teacher who could have convinced a student to go into the field of medicine where he or she may discover the cure for cancer. That's just one of many examples.
We should be commended for picking a career inspired by passion or love instead of monetary gain.
This is a two-way relation. The teacher gives, and the student receives aid and guidance. The student is a "disciple"; that is, he accepts and follows the discipline prescribed by the teacher for the development of his mind. This is not a passive submission to arbitrary authority. It is an active appropriation by the student of the directions indicated by the teacher. The good student uses his teacher just as a child uses his parents, as a means of attaining maturity and independence. The recalcitrant student, who spurns a teacher's help, is wasteful and self-destructive.
Teaching, the highest of the ministerial or cooperative arts, is devoted to the good of others. It is an act of supreme generosity.

Ammu - My Princess
I know there's an ocean between us, and I wish that it weren't true. For every day when I arise, I yearn to be with you. Though a lot of distance lies between us, you'll always be in my mind and my heart, and every night beneath the stars, I pray for the day we'll never be part.
Every day I will be thinking about you. When my eyes are closed, when I sing and dance to a love song, when I'm checking my email, I’m login in orkut, I will be thinking about you. When I go to sleep in the loneliness of my room and give in to wonderful dreams I will definitely be thinking about you.
I do not know how to express the conflicting emotions that have surged like a storm through my heart all night long. I try to put this feeling into words, but fails miserably. As the days continue to pass, my love for you continues to grow. I never thought I had the capacity to love anybody as much as I love you right now. Yet, my love for you continues to mature, growing beyond the realm of my heart. It seems that you have become the fiber of my soul, the very reason for my existence. I have no other words to describe the way you make me feel.
I promise to always love you and always hold you in my heart. I will always be here for you when you need me and I will love you no matter life brings. You are my soul mate.
I know someday we will meet and spend our lives with each other. I have waited for someone like you, and now that I have found you I will never let you go.
